The 29th Joint Meeting of the Japan-U.S. Southeast and Southeast U.S. Japan Associations will return to the City of Tokyo and the Hotel New Otani Tokyo from October 16-18, 2005.
The relationship between the Southeast United States and Japan has grown steadily since that first meeting took place between the business and political leadership of our two countries. Over the past three decades, more than 1,000 Japanese firms have expanded into the Southeast, and each of the Southeastern states now claims Japan as its largest trading partner outside North America. The relationship between the Southeast U.S. and Japan is stronger than ever, and our achievements together are a credit to our ability to adapt to changes in the global economy.
This year's program includes top business and political leadership representing the most significant aspects of the economic relationship between Japan and the Southeast United States. We will hear from business leaders representing leading companies. The Joint Meeting will also feature important networking opportunities for us to renew old friendships and establish new ones.
The Japan-US Southeast Association and the coordinating staff at the Southeast US/Japan Association have been hard at work preparing what will be a memorable and productive joint meeting. Please contact your delegation coordinator for further information and registration details, and make your plans to attend the 29th Joint Meeting in Tokyo, Japan.
Sincerely,
Glenn Cornell |
